Privacy notice

The short version
When you join the early access list, we keep your email and your answer to one question. We use them to tell you when early access opens and to decide what to support first. We don't sell them, share them for advertising, or add you to anything else. Write to privacy@pilotello.com and we delete them.
Who we are
Pilotello is run by Tomy Boulianne, Les Escoumins, QC G0T 1K0, Canada. The person in charge of protecting your personal information is Tomy Boulianne, founder, at privacy@pilotello.com.
What we collect
When you join the early access list, we store:
- your email address;
- your answer to the question "Where does your Optix project live?";
- the consent sentence you checked, and the date and time you checked it;
- the form you used (this page's early access form).
We don't store your IP address, your browser or device details, or any file from your projects with your sign-up. To stop abuse, Cloudflare counts the form's attempts per network address for about a minute; that count is never stored with your sign-up.
Why we use it
- To email you about early access: when it opens, and what you need to know to start.
- To decide which project sources to support first, from the answers of everyone on the list.
We use it for nothing else. We only email you because you asked us to, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and stores the early access list in a database located in eastern North America. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person; to do that, it looks at technical signals from your browser, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across sites.
Your information may therefore be stored and processed outside Québec, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We then delete it within 30 days. If Pilotello does not launch, we delete the whole list.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent or have it deleted. Write to privacy@pilotello.com; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and shows no ads.
Changes
If we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we tell the people on the list first.
